Dreams and Goals in Life

My dreams and goals in Life
Written by Rica Mae Sumaliling of 11-Brilliance

Life goals are something that people set themselves and work hard to achieve. These goals could be something you personally want to achieve in your career, such as working your way up in a company to end up in a well paid job that you are happy in. Life goals can also be personal, where people set themselves the goal of buying a house, getting married and having a family. A further type of goal is an academic one. This could be the wish to finish the studies and to become successful someday. Life goals are personal to the individual who sets them, one person might see climbing the career ladder as more important than starting a family and getting married.

I know everyone should have a goal in their life that they are striving to get to. Me personally, have many goals that I would like to reach throughout my life. First, I would like to go to college when I get through with high school, second, I want to always keep God first in my life, third, I would just like to reach all of my desired goals. As a student attaining a goal is often a difficult process, but it wouldn't be a goal if it were easy. I plan to set my personal standards very high. As a student I intend to devote much of my time to reading course material, so that I may ready my new skills for real world experiences. A class presentation will be a wonderful goal to achieve as a student. In accomplishing these goals, I plan to have strong commitment, dedication as a student and I want to finish my studies.

As a daughter attaining a dream might possible to happen. My dreams are to be a policewoman and if not, I want to become a teacher. My inspiration why I want to become a police it is because of my father that is also a police. Since I was a little kid, I’m his fan and he is my number 1 idol. I want to become like him because I want also to serve and protect the people and the country. And also, I’ve used to play FPS online games like Soldier games and Police Operations games. To become a teacher is just optional. If it seems that I can’t do the police training, I can go with teaching. I am a jolly person and I also love teaching students.

I have also my passions in life. I love editing videos, acting, dancing, singing, playing guitar and composing songs. I have my guts to push these talents and to become a popular performer someday. I am really hoping (*smiles).

Dreams also help in aiming for bigger goals. Dreaming for big goals are very important and they can even be dreams that change the course of your entire life. It decides your occupation and your inner desires. For teenagers and kids, it helps in becoming more studious and makes you more inclined towards studying. It helps you achieve any goal that you want to achieve. It is almost the most essential thing in one’s life.

So dreams and goals are very important in life. They motivate, inspire, improve and help you in achieving any goal that you want to achieve. It is the most important thing in life and without dreams, we will be nowhere.

My Experience in Senior High School
Written by Rica Mae Sumaliling of 11-Brilliance

Unforgettable experiences in Senior High School

Every student has their own perspective. So far, my experience in Senior High School was great. Before I chose this school, during our school confirming, I was not able to choose the Philippine Women's College of Davao because I heard some humors that this school don't have much classes and the students there are quiet spoiled. But then, I was wrong. After 1 week of studying here in PWC, I observe that the senior high school students are very kind and approachable. Well, some students here came from DRANHS which I had also came from. (*laughs).
My first and greatest experience here in PWC is when Ms. Mikee Lagon, the Student's Government Council of Senior High talked to me about the Acquaintance Party. She said that I will be the one to stand as the Emcee. I was shock and worried at the same time because I got sick that time and I felt that I can't do it because there's only 1 day left before the party and I can't prepare myself. But at last, I agreed because they worried about who will they substitute. During the event, I'm happy because I was able to go it with the flow even I'm quiet nervous. After the event, I'm so happy because many people including the Senior High School Principal, Ms. Maria Elena Licco commented and congratulated me about my performance as the Emcee. I flattered about what she told me and I am so proud that I did it by myself and my partner.
What I love about this Senior High School in PWC is that I am able to learn a lot of the lessons that taught by the teachers. They are not making us pressure but sometimes a little bit (haha!). The lessons are easy to get because the teachers are good in teaching. And so, I got high grades. A big thanks to all my teachers because without them, I cannot understand the lessons well.
I felt love with this school because I am able to share my talents and be a good model to everyone. I like the infrastructures, the cleanliness of surroundings, the good attitudes of the student assistants, staffs and janitors, the teachers, the principals and the students as well. I will not forget my experiences in Senior High School but I will just treasure it within my heart. I hope that my next experiences is also great. That's all for now. Thank you for reading!

"About Myself" #Assignment

This is Real, This is Me

Written by: Rica Mae Sumaliling of 11-Brilliance

First and foremost, I know you already know me but not my story. Let me introduce to you myself. I am Rica Mae Sumaliling aka Ricabebe/Angel Locsin. The daughter of Francis Eric Sumaliling and Evelyn Sumaliling. I was born on March 19, 2000 with a beauty, healthy mind and body. I am now 16 years old and counting. I am currently living at Matina Pangi, Davao City together with my family. I am a former student in Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School. I went to Philippine Women's College of Davao to take Computer System Servicing or IT. I am now in Grade 11 Senior High School. I take this course because when I was in 9th and 10th Grade in DRANHS, our TLE subject is Computer Hardware Servicing and I'd use to it. I didn't choose it but it we're the faculty teachers who talked and agreed that all the top students in different section with an average of 90% or higher will be merged in two sections and will take the CHS course. So, I belonged to the Honor's Class.
God gave me talents. I am really thankful for that. And so, I barely used and share it everyday to everyone. I do singing, dancing, acting, impersonating and playing guitar. I also have hobbies in life but one of my favorite hobby is to play online games (which are the War Rock & League of Legends). Seriously speaking, being a gamer for almost 5 years is not just easy. Being a gamer is not just for the fame or for you to become famous. I love this kind of hobby because it makes me relax and chill. Also, it helps me in improving my manual dexterity and computer literacy. But I'd encountered challenges which made me learned a lot of lessons in life like having lack of sleep and playing games everyday in excessive hours are really affecting your studies. But inspite all of this, I have now use to balance it.
When it comes to favorites, I have many (*laughs). Purple and black are my favorite colors. Chicken Curry, Fish Fillet, Spaghetti, Burger, ice creams are my favorite food (include 2 extra rice *laughs again). My favorite movies are the Korean Drama movies (many to mention). My favorite animal is pig because I love myself (*Laughs like over joy).

I have good personalities. I am sweet, kind, funny, cheerful and a person who have always positive mind. I am a sweet person because since I was a little girl, my father is so sweet. He kisses and hugs me everyday then I felt he's sweetness and it's like already our daily routine. That's why I became sweet to my friends, relatives and classmates. I am funny because I make people laugh when they are down and they had problems. I am a cheerful because even a lot of problems will come to me, I don't lose hope instead I smile and I always have positive mind because I cheer and motivate people who lack confidence and self esteem. That's me.

Being the oldest daughter of the family, I value friendships, I appreciate efforts and most especially I love God and my family. I know that I'm not a perfect daughter/friend/classmate but I do my best to do my responsibility, to God and my country. And from my own saying, "Problems are just problems. You don't need to problem them but instead let that problem, problems you." Thank you.
